Oath of Ethics
1. TEG shall conduct itself ethically.
2. TEG instructors shall undergo continuing education, albeit informal or formal, attend legal conferences, read legal journal articles, and otherwise maintain academic rigor to ensure that members receive accurate quality vocational legal education.
3. TEG shall keep membership fees reasonable taking economic dynamics into consideration.
4. Because the law provides that an organization has legal standing to initiate and litigate an action on behalf of its members, TEG shall advocate on behalf of its members, individually or collectively, where necessary and proper.
5. TEG shall promote equity in words and conduct.
6. TEG shall be kind and respectful to members and affiliates. Passive aggression, toxicity, sarcasm, arrogance, condescension in behavior or words shall not be tolerated, and met with immediate punitive action, including administrative probation, or when warranted, termination, albeit member or TEG agent.
7. TEG members are held to this same Oath of Ethics. Refer to Membership Agreement for details regarding punitive action when a TEG member fails to observe high ethical rigor.
* TEG refers to the principal and its agents.
